WS - Disciples' Weekend

First time for the family to join Weekend Snapshots.

Last Saturday, mom went to Amoranto Stadium to attend the Couples for Christ Disciples' Weekend. Couples for Christ is a Catholic organization my parents belong to, and even if dad's no longer around, mom continued to be part of the group. At this time of the year (every year), the organization will do big gatherings like this one, but before, they hold it in out of town locations like in Baguio or Antipolo, but for this year, they decided to do it close to home.

The event started last Saturday, and it's like a big seminar talking about the theme for the year. According to mom, they had four speakers last Saturday and finished the day with some praisefest. They went back the day after (Sunday) and had the last speaker talk about the last topic. They also had a priest come over to deliver mass, and capped the day off with another round of praisefest.

My mom isn't a techie, so even if I lend her my cell phone, she still won't be able to use it. Good thing, some of the members of Singles for Christ were there to make rounds. As part of their fundraising activity, they take pictures of the attendees, have it printed, and sell them at a higher price. Normally, a 4R (4x6) will only cost 7 pesos to print, but for this picture, mom paid 25 pesos. Hmm... great, eh?
