I guess the toughest thing about changing addresses is the fact that you have to take all your belongings to the new place. When I decided to rent a studio type apartment in my last year of college, I went through that phase wherein I seriously didn't know which among my things to take. Because we don't have a vehicle, and getting a cab would be expensive, I decided to take some things at a time until I have gathered all the materials I need to take. Quite a hassle, right?
My Uncle Pete recently had the same problem when he decided to buy a much bigger house to accommodate his whole family. Before, it was just him living in the US, now his family (wife and three teenage kids) joins him, and five people cannot really live in a small apartment, hence the new house. Although he didn't have that much stuffs because he has been living in the US for just two years, taking all the materials he has acquired to the new house certainly gave him a little bit of a problem. I actually don't know if they already found something to help them with the stuffs - I still haven't heard from them (probably they were too busy with the new life that they didn't have much time to check e-mails) - but when I had that chance, I might suggest them something to help them take things from the old apartment to the new house.
There are certainly a lot of Moving Companies across the country, but I recently found Movers.Com and what interested me the most was the fact that they help people through all the stages of moving. They offer a lot of services, from moving boxes to corporate relocation, they do it all! I think the best thing I found out about them was that they're one of the International movers as well. I guess when the time comes that Uncle Pete or any of our relatives in the US decided to move back here, they don't have to worry about leaving other stuffs behind anymore.
Of course, I am hoping they all adjust well to the new life, but if ever things don't go well, at least they already got the moving thing done, right? For sure, they didn't want to leave behind all the things they had bought the whole time they were staying there, so they really need something that helps with the moving internationally. If you're from the US, UK, Australia, India, and / or New Zealand and you needed help with moving your stuffs, consider this Moving company. They have a free quote form to give you an idea about the cost of it, but if you're a bit hesitant about filling up a form, they also have a phone number you can call to answer all your queries.
When I receive an e-mail from my uncle, I will definitely tell him about this.
